Solar Path Over The Wetlands
Stacked solargraph cans overlooking the Galien River Marsh in New Buffalo Township, MI, yielded two images when recovered in June 2019. Gaps dominating portions of the image indicate stretches of sunless days. The first can is aimed slightly east of due south, so the left side reveals the sunrise points along the horizon. The second can, whose image was tarnished by water in the can, was aimed west of south and shows the sunset locations descending into the blur.
Meanwhile, new solargraph cans have been placed within the bell tower at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Thanks to Doreen and Betsy for taking time to secure them for a six-month exposure.
